  • GMD (CO2 Gehaltemeter)

    GMD (CO2 Gehaltemeter)

Measuring device makes it possible to determine the CO2 content in cylindro-conical fermenters, fermenting tanks, or KEG casks and it is either in volumes or in grams/litre. The device for determination of CO2 content is based on the Henry’s law principle. The CO2 content is determined with the help of measurement of balanced value of temperature and pressure after the mechanical release of CO2 dissolved in beer. Preceding the measurement the operator puts the button to flutter the CO2 in a low position and connects the device with the help of the rubber hose to cylindro-conical fermenter tank or to the fermenting or to the supplied adapted head attached to the KEG cask. This head makes it possible to attain the necessary overpressure in a KEG cask thus securing the samples withdrawal. The operator with the help of the closing valves fills a the vessel with the beer sample.

CO2 release is done by using three times the piston pump placed on the top of the device. You switch on the device by depressing the “ON” button on the membrane keyboard. The value of the CO2 content can be watched on a display after depression of the “enter” button in CO2 menu. The device cleaning after the measurement is easy and fast. It consists of a connection to the water pressure distribution with open ball valves and water is circulated with the repeated depression of a button that is placed on the top of device during water circulation. The operator holds the the device in a vertical position during the circulation of water so that the whole vessel can be filled by water. We disconnect the device of water pressure distribution after cleaning. One removes the rest of rinsed water by turning the device upside down.

    Accessories:

Withdrawal head equipped with manual pump – for KEG measurement – only on customer’s demand.

    Multipurpose uses of device:

The device is equipped by a microcomputer that makes it possible to perfect comfort and also benefits the staff by its versatility. The device makes it possible to separate the measurement of beer temperature and pressure in cylindro-conical fermenters, fermenting tanks or KEG casks, and CO2 content measurement.

  • OXI-GMD (O2 and CO2 Gehaltemeter)

    OXI-GMD (O2 and CO2 Gehaltemeter)

Our Digital O2 and CO2 Measuring Device is designed for the determination of O2 and CO2 content in beer, saturated beverages and sparkling wine in tanks, fermentation tanks, KEG casks and cylindro-conical fermenters (CO2 in volume percentage or g/l and O2 in ppb or ppm ).

    Accessories:

    • Withdrawal head for measurement in KEGS, equipped with manual pump.
    • USB cable + software DataViewer
    • Note: Accessories may be purchased as required.

    Principle of measurement:

Measurement of CO2 is based on the Henry law principle. CO2 content is determined by the measurement of the balance value of temperature and pressure after the mechanical releasing of CO2 dissolved in solution. Measurement of O2- proven measurement method using an optical oxygen sensor. The oxygen content is displayed in less than 3 minutes and is automatically transferred to the data memory. The oxygen meter OXI accurately determines dissolved oxygen in beverages. The measurement is unaffected by other dissolved gases which makes it indispensable for monitoring of the oxygen content

    Description of equipment:

    • Highly accurate determination of dissolved oxygen and CO2 in beverages
    • Proven measurement method using an optical oxygen sensor
    • Easy to use
    • Fast results
    • The data can be securely transferred to a PC using the interface cable
  • GMAs (CO2 Gehaltemeter)

    GMAs (CO2 Gehaltemeter)

The measuring device makes it possible to measure CO2 content in fermenting tanks, KEG casks and cylindro-conical fermenters (volume percentage or g/l). CO2 content is determined thanks to the measurement of the balance value of temperature and pressure after the mechanical fluttering of CO2 dissolved in beer. CO2 content is read on a nomogram, part of measuring device supply.

Preceding measurement the operator connects the device (with the help of a rubber flexible hose) to the fermeting tank, a cylindro-conical fermenter or to a supplied adapted head for a KEG cask. This head makes it possible to attain a necessary overpressure in the KEG cask securing sample withdrawal. The operator fills a vessel by measured sample of beer (with the help of ball valves). Fluttering is made by shaking the device. After attaining a balance the operator can read the balance value of the pressure and the temperature. CO2 content can be read on the nomogram. You can modify the formula for the calculation of the CO2 content in specific drinks.

The device upkeep is easy and fast. Cleaning the device is comfortable and consists of connecting this device to a water pressure distribution with open ball valves and in a parallel depression of a button placed on the top of a device during the circulation of water. The operator holds the equipment in a vertical position during circulation of water so that the whole vessel can be filled by water. After cleaning you disconnect the device from the water cock and you remove the rest of the rinsing water by turning the device upside down. During the whole time of handling this device during measurement and cleaning the operator has this device hanging by a sling on his neck therefore the operator has both hands free during the measurement. Everyone who works in such working conditions will appreciate it.

    Accessories:

    • Silicone hoses
    • Withdrawal head for kegs (type to be specified for ordering) equipped with manual pump to help pushing out the beer into the measuring device
