The CCTT Tumbling Tester for Crown Closure is mainly applicable to determine the shedding condition metal and coating off the situation. It is an indispensable instrument for cap manufacturing enterprises, breweries and quality inspection institutions.

Test procedure:

• Take 50 pcs cleaned caps and divided into two group, each group 25 pcs caps, weigh two group caps, accuracy should be 0.1mg
• Put caps into sample chamber, turn 50 minutes (time adjustable) at a speed of 20 RPM per minute
• Take out the caps and clean the wear film attached on the cap ,weigh them again, accuracy should be 0.1mg
• Calculate the loss weight of the two group’s caps. Take the average of two group loss weight as the cap abrasive wear value.
• Compare to standard qualified range to determine if the value is within the range.
