The BBS1050 and BBS1200 Compact Blackbody Sources offer high accuracy in up to 1″ aperture in a compact form factor. Designed for compact, mid- to high-temperature applications (50 to 1200°C), making them ideal for smaller systems.

The BBS1050 and BBS1200 are compact, portable blackbody calibration sources designed for high-precision infrared temperature calibration. These systems provide reliable, high-emissivity radiance sources for calibrating infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras, detectors, and spectrometers in laboratory and field environments.

Engineered for mid- to high-temperature applications, both models offer a wide adjustable temperature range from 50°C up to 1050°C or 1200°C, along with excellent stability and accuracy (±0.2°C). Their compact design and multi-position aperture wheel allow flexible calibration setups, making them ideal for portable systems, collimators, and automated test stations.

Featuring a silicon carbide cavity with high emissivity (>0.99) and a digital PID controller, the BBS series ensures uniform radiation and consistent performance. With fast heat-up times, optional communication interfaces, and rugged construction, the BBS1050 and BBS1200 deliver dependable, high-quality calibration solutions for demanding industrial and laboratory applications.
