PSC-54 Series Pyrometer

Self-Contained Pyrometer with Laser or Video Sighting

The self-contained PSC-54N pyrometer series (2-colour PSC-SR54N and 1-colour PSC-S54N) comes with a choice of two sighting methods, delivering high-resolution fixed focus optics with small spot sizes, a digital RS485 communication interface, analogue 4-20mA output and fast speed of response. Optical and electronics parts are enclosed in a rugged stainless steel housing for use in harsh environments.

Offering a wide range of temperatures spanning 250°C to 3000°C, the PSC-54N series provides the user a choice of integrated red laser or video camera sighting. As with all PSC two-colour models, the PSC-SR54N and PSC-SR54NV can also be used as single-wavelength pyrometers — giving operators the choice of output signals from shorter or longer wavelengths, or both, via analogue and serial communication ports.

Software

The free PSCSpot software, with optional USB cable for connection to the RS485 output, allows simple set-up of pyrometer parameters, facilitates multi-tasking, and makes recording data in graphical, text or tabular format simple.

Applications

Ideal for applications in induction heating, kilns, composites, sintering, steel and metals processing, vacuum furnaces and welding, as well as demanding research and development applications.
