Highly Versatile, Low-Cost IR Temperature Sensor

The PSC-SSS IR temperature sensor series is a highly versatile, low-cost solution for reliable temperature measurement. It features a temperature range of -50°C to 1800°C, fully scalable by the operator via programming keys, or using the included, no-cost PSC Connect software.

Additional sensor parameter adjustments include peak picking, valley hold, averaging, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. The sensor head can be installed in higher ambient temperatures, and a full line of rugged industrial accessories is available for its protection and optimal operation.

PSC-SSS-P3 Variant

The PSC-SSS-P3 model is ideal for accurate temperature measurement of polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and polystyrene (PS) films. It handles ambient temperatures up to 75°C without cooling, delivering the versatility of more expensive IR sensors in a compact, cost-effective package.
