The miho LC 2 is a compact residual liquid detector for very accurate inspection of bottles for caustic residual liquids after washing and before filling. It distinguishes water residues from caustic residues, with a test bottle function and reject system control.
The miho LC 2 provides very accurate inspection of bottles for caustic residual liquids after the washing machine and before the filler. Wetting through caustic solution is detected as a fault, while water residues are strictly distinguished from caustic residues.
The system is operated via the LC 2 Basic system (evaluation unit). Upon detecting a bottle wetted with caustic solution, a floating signal is emitted — for example, activating the bottle stopper or a line shutdown.
Essential for beverage bottling lines running returnable glass bottles, ensuring bottles are free of caustic washing residue before they reach the filler.
