Newton HF 2

High-Frequency Fill Level Control

The miho Newton HF 2 checks fill level for underfilling and limited overfilling in transparent glass and PET bottles, using compact, easy-to-operate high-frequency measurement. Self-calibration compensates for temperature fluctuations, with comprehensive fault statistics available.

Fill Level Control (High-Frequency Technology)

The miho Newton HF 2 checks the fill level for any underfilling, and in a limited way also overfilling, in transparent glass and PET bottles. Inspection is carried out using a high-frequency (HF) measurement method, with easy handling. The system compensates for any fluctuations in temperature through self-calibration.

Key Features

  • Compact construction.
  • High-frequency technology.
  • Easy to operate.
  • Self-calibration compensates for temperature fluctuations.
  • Comprehensive statistics for individual fault types.
  • Serial fault detection implemented.
  • Connection to external production data acquisition system possible.
  • Handwheel height adjustment for bottle type changes.
  • Preferable HF measuring method suited for metallised labels.

Limitations

Not suitable for swing-top bottles, long caps, tinfoil, or highly viscous products and spirits.

Applications

Typically installed at the filler outfeed for non-foaming products, or at the labelling machine outfeed — ideal for straightforward, reliable fill level verification on transparent glass and PET bottles.
