The Schmidt+Haensch Saccharoflex 2020 is a reflectance colorimeter for the easy determination of the ICUMSA colour type of crystal sugar. The reflectance-metering method offers a non-destructive way to grade white crystal sugar colour, measuring reflectance factors at 495 and 620nm using an integrated sphere for reliable, repeatable results. Precise and fast colour type indication is achieved even for brown sugars thanks to the extended measuring range of up to 19.99 CU. Calibration is straightforward using Brunswick colour standards or long-term stable ceramic standards, and the adjustable working voltage provides a long service life for the lighting unit.
