Camera-Based Bottle Sorting System

The miho Multicon 4 is a camera-based system for the detection and sorting of glass or PET bottles, or other containers, according to shape, colour and size differences. It can also detect lying bottles or bottle breakages and reject them from the line.

In addition to direct characteristics, bottles can be sorted based on secondary features such as permanent labels (ACL), embossing, or remaining adhesive residues. Sample bottles must be tested to configure detection for these secondary features.
