Circular Sample Cutter

Circular sample cutter for paper, corrugated board, aluminium and plastic foils and textile, used to determine grammage and perform FCT tests. Circular shears in 100, 50, 25 or 10cm² (or 10, 5in²) accurately cut samples with great precision.

Key Features (Corrugated Board)

• Cut depth easily adjustable for different sample thickness.
• Blade remains totally covered by the security chassis.
• Three fix pins avoid displacement of the equipment during the cut operation.
• Sample cut up to 10mm thickness.

Key Features (Paper, Paperboard, Cardboard)

• DISC series.
• Rotating handle (pushing down and turning simultaneously) results in a perfect sample cut.
• Blade replacement easily done on the side of the equipment.
• Lowering movement of the blades always blocked by the lateral pin (2 hands needed for cutting); pull the little pin and rotate a quarter to unblock.
• Sample cutting up to 5mm thick.

Applications

Suitable for corrugated board, board boxes, board packaging, aluminium foil and plastic film sample preparation ahead of grammage and FCT testing. Meets FEFCO 2, FEFCO 6, ISO 536, ISO 3035, SCAN P32, TAPPI T410 and TAPPI T825.
