FTM-50

Computerized Food Texture Analyzer

The FTM-50 Food Texture and Firmness Analyzer (Texturometer) analyzes texture properties of foods, cosmetics and packaging using TPA (Texture Profile Analysis) software, up to 1kN maximum force. Its low-friction, closed-loop electromechanical drive enables cyclic tensile and compression tests with real-time diagrams and reports.

Computerized Food Texture Analyzer

The FTM-50 Computerized Texture Analyzer is designed to analyze properties related to the texture of foods in general — pet foods, fruits, snacks, meats, vegetables, fish and more — with analysis software TPA (Texture Profile Analysis). It features the most advanced and reliable electromechanical test framework with ball circulation spindle.

The computerized control system allows closed-loop control of parameters such as test force, specimen deformation and crosshead travel, realising test diagrams, curves and reports in real time on the PC screen. Closed-loop control through the METROTEST software makes cyclical tests possible. Through simple connection with different accessories and test tools, tests can be carried out on various food products, cosmetics and food packaging to suit your quality control and research needs.
