Friction Tester

The FT-10 Friction Tester provides fast, accurate determination of static and dynamic friction coefficients for paper, cardboard and plastic films, covering up to 1kN with a 10N load cell included. Its RS-232/USB output and dedicated software support ASTM D1894, TAPPI T816 and TAPPI T549.

Friction Tester

Test equipment to measure the static and kinetic friction of paper, carton, plastic film or similar material. For fast and accurate determination of static and dynamic friction coefficients, sled dimensions can be chosen per ASTM D1894 Method B (63.5 x 63.5mm, 200g) or TAPPI T816 (63.5 x 63.5mm, 1,360g).
