Pneumatic “TAPPI” Wet Sheet Press

Equipment for pressing wet sheets of paper and wet paper pulp, obtained in the sheet former, under standardised conditions. A blotting paper is first placed on the bottom plate of the press, followed by the wet paper sheet adhered to the blotter, a drying plate (polished side down), and further blotting paper for multi-sheet pressing.

The stack of sheets is placed in the press, which is operated until reaching an effective pressure of 400 ± 10 kPa in 20 ± 10 seconds, maintained for the required standard duration.
