Electromechanical Material Testing Machine (5kN)

The single column material testing machine is designed to test a wide range of materials such as plastics, rubber, adhesives, foils, leathers, textiles, yarns and ropes, in tension, compression, flexion, shear, peel and tear, up to 5kN of capacity.

Unit Control

• PC control with METROTEST Material Testing Software.
• Sample breaking level detection (% force drop at end of test).
• Force and extension peak maintenance in tension or compression.
• Selection of units of force and deformation.
• External control mode for 15″ laptop PC.
• RS-232 serial port with USB converter.

Force Measurement

• Range: 2% to 100%, accuracy 0.5% of applied force.
• Force accuracy: Class 0.5 (±0.5%).
• Load reading resolution: 1/200,000 points.
• Sampling speed: 30,000 samples/second (internal).
• Units selectable: Kg, N or Lb.
• Overload protection (load cell).
• Programmable pre-load.
