The AD-1 Automatic Degasser quickly releases dissolved CO2 from carbonated beverages using a high-speed mechanical stirrer and vacuum pump, preparing samples for accurate CO2, quality and taste testing. Accommodates samples from 5°C to 40°C and 400 to 1,200ml.
The AD-1 Automatic Degasser is an instrument developed by AT2E for quick degassing of dissolved CO2 gas in carbonated beverages — beer, sodas, and sparkling water — in order to prepare samples for subsequent quality control testing. The instrument consists of a degassing unit and a vacuum pump that exhausts the released CO2 from the test chamber.
To degas a sample, the carbonated beverage is stirred with a high-speed stirrer to rapidly release the dissolved CO2 gas, then a vacuum condition is generated by the vacuum pump to exhaust the released CO2 from the chamber — quickly achieving a fully degassed sample.
Maximise the taste and quality control accuracy of carbonated beverages like beer, sodas and sparkling water by preparing properly degassed samples ahead of downstream quality testing.
