The gauge works by testing whether a bottle’s outer diameter falls within a defined range. The bottle must successfully pass through the larger hole of the gauge, indicating it’s within the acceptable size, while it should not be able to pass through the smaller hole, confirming it doesn’t exceed the maximum diameter limit.
