PSC-52LT Series Pyrometer

Laser-Sighted Pyrometer for Low-Reflective Surfaces

The PSC-52LT is a laser-sighted pyrometer for low-reflective surfaces, covering 0°C to 1000°C with spot sizes down to 6mm. Its rugged stainless steel housing suits paper, food, glass, ceramics, wood, rubber, plastics and gypsum board applications.

Laser-Sighted Pyrometer for Low-Reflective Surfaces

The digital PSC-52LT pyrometer, with integrated laser aiming, operates in the 8–14µm spectral range and is designed for precise temperature measurement of low-reflective surfaces and materials. It offers high-resolution laser-sighted, fixed focus optics with small spot sizes, and its optical and electronics parts are enclosed in a rugged stainless steel housing for use in harsh environments.

The PSC-52LT operates in the 0°C to 1000°C (32°F to 1832°F) temperature range with adjustable sub-temperature ranges. It features a fast, adjustable response time of 100ms, and is capable of measuring very small spot sizes from 0.24in (6mm).

Key Features

  • Integrated laser aiming for precise, confident sighting.
  • Standard loop-powered 4-20mA linear output for simple integration into existing measurement and control systems.
  • Rugged stainless steel housing with a sealed quick-disconnect connector for the IR sensor cable.
  • Heavy-duty protective cooling jacket with integrated air purge, available for harsh environment applications.
  • Optional USB PC interface cable.

Software

PSCSpot for Windows software is standard equipment, provided for storage, processing and evaluation of real-time measured data. It provides extensive statistical analysis of data, export of measured data as test files, and creation of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
