Newton Optics 3

Optical Fill Level and Cap Control

The miho Newton Optics 3 is an optical inspection device checking fill level and cap correctness after the filler and seamer, with precise control even for foaming products such as wheat beer. Multi-optical axes (offset 90°/270°) capture up to 6 images per bottle for evaluation.

Optical Fill Level and Cap Control

The miho Newton Optics 3 is an optical inspection device installed after the filler and seamer to check for correct fill level and closure — catching slanted or not-rolled-on caps. It provides precise control of the fill level even with foaming products such as wheat beer, measuring for any underfilling or overfilling while inspecting the cap using the optical method.

State-of-the-art camera and lighting technology uses multi-optical axes, offset by 90° and 270° coverage, with variable lighting. Up to six images per bottle can be created and evaluated according to many different criteria by the miho VIDIOS® image processing system.

Key Features

  • Precision fill level measurement.
