The VAL series extends the Validator™ family of box compression testers for larger boxes, containers and medium-sized packaging — up to 1000 x 1000mm plate separation and capacities up to 50kN. Industry standard for determining the ultimate compression strength and long-term stacking ability of boxes, bulk containers and pallets.

• RS-232 output interface.
• Testing software with basic statistics for BCT (constant speed), Stacking (constant load) and cycling tests.
• Compatible with the T-LAB Laboratory Management System.

Applications

Suitable for corrugated and compact board cases and boxes, moulded cellulose trays, plastic packing and containers, metal packing and containers, board and plastic tubes, wooden boxes, and plastic/wooden/cardboard pallets. Meets ASTM D642/D2659-16/D4169/D4577/D7030, DIN 55440-1, FEFCO 50, ISO 12048/16495, ISTA Series, UNE 137001/11093-9:2011, TAPPI T804, NF H13-001 and 49 CFR 178.606.
