BBS1050 & BBS1200
Compact Mid-to-High Temperature Blackbody Sources
The BBS1050 and BBS1200 are compact blackbody calibration sources delivering high accuracy in up to a 1-inch aperture within a small form factor. Covering 50°C to 1050°C (BBS1050) or 50°C to 1200°C (BBS1200), they’re ideal for mid-to-high temperature calibration in space-constrained systems.
Accurate IR Calibration in a Compact Source
The BBS1050 and BBS1200 Compact Blackbody Sources offer high accuracy in up to a 1-inch aperture in a compact form factor. Designed for compact mid-to-high temperature applications, they’re ideal for smaller systems where space is at a premium. Both units connect to an external controller via an 8-foot cable, keeping the emitter head small while housing the control electronics separately.
Two Temperature Options
- BBS1050: 50°C to 1050°C temperature range.
- BBS1200: 50°C to 1200°C temperature range, for applications needing a higher ceiling.

- Emissivity greater than 0.99 for accurate radiometric reference.
- Compact emitter head with remote external controller (8’ cable) for flexible mounting.

Applications
Ideal for calibration verification of non-contact infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras and FPA detectors in mid-to-high temperature ranges, particularly where space constraints rule out larger benchtop blackbody sources.
