TE Cooled Blackbody Calibration Source

The Process Sensors blackbody calibration source model BBS120-TE is well suited for calibration and verification of non-contact infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras, FPA (focal plane array) detectors, and spectrometers in the temperature range from -15°C to 120°C. A serial RS485 interface (optional USB adapter) enables full control of the blackbody via a PC.

Key Features

• Digital PID controller and precision platinum resistance thermometer (Pt100) for excellent accuracy and stability.
• Integrated purge fitting for dry air or nitrogen, reducing condensation on the emitter plate at low operating temperatures.
• Serial RS485 interface with optional USB adapter for PC-based control and software integration.
• Thermoelectric (TE) cooling enables both sub-ambient and above-ambient set points from a single unit.
