The DHR Digital Handheld Refractometer delivers rapid, on-site measurements of liquid substances with high or low viscosity, showing precise 5-digit results on its LCD screen in under 2 seconds. CE certified and IP65 dustproof and water resistant, it’s ideal for point-of-harvest checks or antifreeze analysis.
The DHR digital handheld refractometer allows for rapid, on-site measurements of liquid substances with high or low viscosity. The full-view LCD screen displays reliable results with high precision (five digits) in under 2 seconds. DHR can be used in agriculture — for example, to determine the point of harvest — or in the automotive industry, to analyse antifreeze.
The sample is placed on a level surface and measurement results are returned within seconds. For example, using a handheld refractometer it’s simple to determine the point of harvest by measuring the sugar content in apples — a volume of just 0.1ml fruit juice is sufficient for evaluation.
Handheld refractometers are most used in agriculture for point-of-harvest determination, as well as across the food and beverage industry — models are available with two refractometer scales to analyse materials such as honey, wine, saline, glycol and antifreeze.
